As you may be aware, President Biden has declared that a major disaster exists in New Jersey, after the remnants of Hurricane Ida caused flooding and devastation across New Jersey last week.  This declaration makes federal funding available to people affected by the storm in Bergen, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Passaic, and Somerset counties; covering temporary housing and home repairs, low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses, and other programs designed to help people and business owners recover.
To support our residents impacted by the storm, the following measures are in place:

1. From Wednesday, September 8th through Wednesday, September 15th, city residents will be able to schedule an appointment for debris removal
Residents can schedule an appointment by completing the form (link below) or call DPW at (732) 826-2010.
