The City of Perth Amboy Mayor's Office and the Office of Emergency Management continue to monitor the track and potential impact of Hurricane Henri on our city.
Although the center of the storm is well off our coast, there is potential for strong winds and intense rainfall that could cause flooding to some of our local streets. 
We expect rainfall with some heavier periods as the outer rain bands approach our area. This forecast is projected to last into tomorrow's late evening hours.
We will continue to monitor the storm throughout the evening and tomorrow will advise if any emergency protective measures will be required.
Keep your batteries in your cell phone fully charged and have a flash light available in case of power outages.

La Oficina del Alcalde de la Ciudad de Perth Amboy y la Oficina de Manejo de Emergencias continúan monitoreando la trayectoria y el impacto potencial del Huracán Henri en nuestra ciudad.
Aunque el centro de la tormenta está bien lejos de nuestra costa, existe el potencial de fuertes vientos y lluvias intensas que podrían causar inundaciones en algunas de nuestras calles locales.
Esperamos lluvias con algunos períodos más pesados a medida que las bandas de lluvia externas se acerquen a nuestra área.  Se espera que este pronóstico dure hasta mañana por la tarde.
