One of my priorities since taking office is to help residents achieve healthier lifestyles and overall health and wellness.
I am proud to announce the launch of my Mayors Wellness Campaign on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Thomas Mundy Peterson Park, starting at 9:00 AM.
The goals of this wellness campaign are to:
• Coordinate programs throughout the year to promote healthy activity
• To increase opportunities for residents of all ages and abilities, from youth to senior
• Employee wellness program dedicated to encouraging staff and focusing on various aspects of health and wellness
• Partner with community health providers to address the changing needs of residents, including food insecurity, COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters, behavioral health resources, and innovative programs to strengthen the physical, mental and spiritual health of our community

Join Mayor Helmin J. Caba, the Raritan Bay Area YMCA, and the JRMC in the Fight Against Breast Cancer with a Wellness Walk and Health Fair on Saturday, October 15, starting at 9 AM, at the Thomas Mundy Peterson Park at 40 Washington Street, Perth Amboy.

• 9 AM: REGISTRATION/CHECK-IN FOR WALK
• 10 AM: WALK STARTS ON HIGH STREET AND THE PARK'S ENTRANCE
• 10 AM: JRMC'S HEALTH FAIR BEGINS REGISTER BELOW ON OR BEFORE October 3. The first 100 sign-ups will get a shirt, tote, and wristband.
